Sherrone Moore and Michigan football are doing a heck of a job when it comes to O-line recruiting in 2024 and more elite players are set to visit.

It’s looking like Michigan football is going to have a big offensive line haul in the 2024 recruiting class. The Wolverines already have two offensive line commitments in 2024 and more could be on the way soon.

One name that has been trending up with Michigan football is 2024 offensive tackle Blake Frazier. He visited the same weekend that Jadyn Davis and Jordan Marshall visited. He also said he will be releasing a top five soon and Michigan football is definitely going to make that list.

Frazier has been trending with expert projections. The Wolverines are the heavy favorite according to the On3 prediction machine. All of the crystal ball predictions favor Michigan football too. The 6-foot-5, 280-pounder out of Texas is ranked as the No. 15 offensive tackle and is 204th overall in the 2024 class according to the 247 sports composite rankings.

More positive developments for Michigan football and O-line recruiting

However, Michigan football is getting more good news on the recruiting when it comes to elite offensive linemen as two top-5 tackles in 2024 are going to visit.

According to Brice Marich of The Michigan Insider, No. 1 offensive tackle Brandon Baker in the 2024 class is going to visit the Wolverines this weekend. Baker is a four-star according to the 247 sports composite rankings (36th overall) but is still the No. 1 tackle and No. 3 player in California.

Baker just visited Nebraska. Miami, Ohio State, Washington, USC, and Oregon are all listed as “warm” according to his 247 sports profile. Baker is 6-foot-5, 285 pounds, and out of the elite Mater Dei program from Santa Ana.

Landing Baker isn’t going to be easy. However, after winning back-to-back Joe Moore awards, the Wolverines should be able to start landing top-100 guys. Getting Baker on campus is a good start and we’ll see if that leads to an official visit or a visit in the fall.

Bennett Warren is another offensive tackle that is going to visit Michigan football this spring. He’s ranked fifth among tackles by 247 sports but ranks lower according to the composite rankings (17th, 225th overall).

Still, the 6-foot-7, 320-pounder out of Sugar Land, Texas has plenty of talent and is another interesting name to know in terms of 2024 offensive tackles. According to Marich, he will be visiting during the Michigan football spring game.
