Michigan Football: Another Jadyn Davis crystal ball, plus elite 2025 QB to visit
Michigan football has picked up another crystal ball for five-star quarterback Jadyn Davis, plus another elite signal-caller in 2025 is coming for the spring game.
We are now just a few days away from the commitment announcement of Michigan football recruiting target Jadyn Davis and things are still looking great for the Wolverines.
All of the expert projections — whether they are from On3, 247 sports, or Rivals — are for Davis to commit to Michigan football this week.
The No. 28 overall prospect in the 2024 recruiting class according to the 247 sports composite rankings and the No. 4 quarterback, has an announcement set for Friday on ESPN at 1:30 PM EST and everyone expects it to be for Michigan football.
There was even another crystal ball from a Clemson insider projecting the kid from North Carolina to announce for the Wolverines this week.
It will be a huge sigh of relief for Michigan which missed on 2023 five-star quarterback Dante Moore from Detroit. This won’t completely wash that miss away, but it helps and it will help Michigan football fans forget about C.J. Carr too.
Another 5-star QB in 2025 to visit for Michigan football spring game
While the Wolverines are in an ideal position to land one of the top quarterbacks in the 2024 class, new quarterbacks coach Kirk Campbell also has Michigan in a great position for 2025.
The Wolverines host the No. 2 ranked quarterback in 2025 over the weekend in Cutter Boley, as well as top-200 four-star Stone Saunders. That was in addition to the No. 1 QB in 2025 Bryce Underwood, who also visited last week.
This weekend, it’s been reported by Brice Marich of The Michigan Insider that George MacIntyre, the No. 3 quarterback in 2025 via the 247 sports composite rankings will be visiting Ann Arbor for the Wolverines’ spring game on Saturday.
By the time the weekend rolls around, that will mean that Michigan football has hosted the top three quarterbacks for 2025 in the 247 sports composite rankings in a little over a week. The Wolverines have also had Ryan Montgomery on campus this spring, as well as Saunders.
Without taking any quarterbacks in 2023, it’s possible the Wolverines could look to take two in the 2025 class. Or, Michigan football is just making sure it has options after the all-eggs-in-one-basket approach didn’t work with Moore and was quite stressful with Davis.
It looks like it will work out with Davis and it’s a good thing too because the Wolverines don’t have many other options in 2024. But in 2025, options are one thing Michigan isn’t short on.
