Michigan football is hosting a number of key recruits over the weekend, including a pair of elite 2025 quarterbacks.

The recruitment of five-star quarterback Jadyn Davis in the 2024 class is well-documented for Michigan football as the Wolverines are looking to land the elite signal caller.

Michigan football will get another chance to seal the deal this month. Davis is expected to take another visit to Ann Arbor this month. It will give him a chance to spend more time with the new quarterbacks coach Kirk Campbell.

Campbell is going to play a key role in this recruitment and we’ll see if he can seal the deal with Davis. Jim Harbaugh will have a key role to play too but in terms of the 2025 class, Michigan is in a good spot with a couple of highly-touted passers.

One of them is in-state five-star Bryce Underwood. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound quarterback out of Belleville is extremely prolific. He’s also ranked No. 3 overall in the 247 composite rankings for 2025, as well as the No. 1 quarterback.

Michigan football is the leader according to the On3 prediction machine, but the Wolverines have a 31-percent chance to win his commitment. Those odds should only be helped this weekend when he stops by Ann Arbor for a visit.

However, he also recently visited Ohio State and the Buckeyes are a clear threat along with a number of other programs. Still, the surprise visit which Underwood reported via his Twitter account on Friday, is a big deal for the Wolverines.

Another top-100 quarterback on campus this week is Ryan Montgomery. The Findlay, Ohio quarterback is ranked 47th overall according to the On3 industry ranking.

This is Montgomery’s seventh visit to Michigan football. He’s also been to Ohio State seven times too and next month will be visit No. 8.

Yet, the Wolverines are in a good spot with both quarterbacks. They obviously aren’t going to land both and neither team is. But, if Michigan is able to land one or the other, along with Davis, you’d have to feel really good about the QB room going forward.
