Another Jadyn Davis visit and more Michigan Football recruiting news
Five-star quarterback Jadyn Davis has confirmed another visit to Michigan football this spring. We analyze that and more visit news for the Wolverines.
Things are definitely heating up for Michigan football on the recruiting trail. The Wolverines are setting up a bunch of visits during the month of March and one of those includes five-star quarterback Jadyn Davis.
Davis doesn’t have an exact date yet but told Steve Wiltfong of 247 sports on Monday that he was planning another visit to Michigan football, which is huge news for the Wolverines.
Davis is the top overall target for Michigan football in the 2024 class and the Wolverines have been the leader for the five-star quarterback, according to the 247 sports composite rankings, dating back to last summer.
The hope is that they can close on this next visit. Davis will get a chance to spend time with quarterbacks coach Kirk Campbell and also spend time around the team during spring ball.
The bottom line is that Michigan needs to close out this recruitment sooner rather than later and if Davis doesn’t commit at some point this spring, I’d be really worried as a Wolverines fan.
More key visits coming for Michigan football
On the defensive side of the ball, few recruits in the 2024 class are higher on the board for the Wolverines than Ohio EDGE Brian Robinson.
Robinson is 6-foot-5, 255 pounds out of Fitch, Ohio, and is ranked as the No. 110 overall prospect in the 247 sports composite rankings for 2024, as well as No. 3 in the state of Ohio.
Penn State and Kentucky are two of the key rivals. Ohio State doesn’t seem to be pushing that hard and right now, the Wolverines have two crystal balls in their favor with a chance to add more momentum this spring as Robinson will also be visiting according to Sam Webb of The Michigan Insider.
As Webb notes, Robinson has been on campus four times in the past seven months. This will be trip No. 5 and Michigan football seems like the clear favorite to win his commitment.
Another elite QB to visit Michigan football
In addition to Jadyn Davis, Michigan football will also host another elite quarterback in 2025 signal caller George MacIntyre.
MacIntyre is out of Brentwood, Tennessee, and is ranked as the No. 30 overall prospect in the 2025 recruiting class according to the 247 sports composite rankings. The No. 2 QB in the class of 2025 told 247 sports he will visit for the spring game.
It will be his first trip to campus after being personally offered by Jim Harbaugh.
