2. Kobe Bufkin eclipsed a new career-high again

The meteoric rise of Bufkin continues for the stellar sophomore. 28 points and two rebounds shy of a double-double. Hunter Dickinson did secure another double-double in the win with 23 and 10. More importantly, though, he hit the shot to send it into overtime on senior day 2023 with Joey Baker as the lone senior on the team.

Bufkin now has double figures in his last eight. The Wolverines are 6-2 in that span, which happens to be the entire critical month of February. He is showing up in the mock drafts as well, which is a positive thing for him. However, Michigan basketball fans everywhere want to see him hang around for another year and become a lottery pick in the 2024 draft.

Dickinson was just about 70% from the field and had his way with the Badgers in the first stanza. If this is his last home game, then that is exactly how you could want it to go.

His legacy is further cemented as one of the greatest big men to ever wear the maize and blue uniform. And who knows maybe he’ll decide to stay one more time.
