The three biggest overreactions from another dominant win for the Michigan football team over Nebraska on Saturday.

Nebraska’s abysmal season continues as they got steamrolled by the freight train that is Michigan football. The Wolverines came in ranked third in the playoff rankings and will likely stay that way with a convincing beating of the Cornhuskers.

All that stands in Wolverines’ way now for a return to Indianapolis is Illinois and a war of attrition that everyone has been waiting for.

Here are the three overreactions.

1. Winning with style points matters more than winning boringly

Michigan football is not in the business of pleasing everyone. With that said, this is an overreaction that holds no merit. They were victorious by 31 and some folks are still complaining on social media about how they won. Michigan could win the whole thing this year and some people would still not be happy.

Michigan has shown up every week and smashed every opponent that has been put in front of them. Turns out their closest win of the season was Maryland thus far and if they hadn’t gone into prevent mode and given up a late touchdown, then their margin of victory would have been even wider than just seven points.

Style points don’t matter to Jim Harbaugh and his staff. Their one common goal is to go out there and defeat the other team on the field.

That’s what they’ve done for 10 consecutive weeks now and have done it resoundingly. Nobody should be criticizing them, especially if they call themselves a real Michigan football fan.
