What’s the over/under for the number of players in Game 2?

Last week, over 35 players ended up getting to play in the Colorado State game, and that was the “hardest” opponent of the three non-conference opponents, so it’ll be interesting to see if Michigan football completely empties the bench this weekend.

In total, 17 players saw their first snaps in a Wolverines uniform in live game action, so let’s see if Michigan can get the over on that this weekend.

Will the Michigan defense generate even more sacks this weekend?

Last game, Michigan’s defense looked super fast, flying around the field, making a ton of tackles for loss, getting pressure, and getting a lot of sacks. It was a complete success in Jesse Minter’s debut.

There were seven sacks in total as nine different players recorded at least half a sack. Well, this weekend, Michigan will look to get even more.

It’s certainly a very real possibility on Saturday, as Michigan football with J.J. McCarthy in probably won’t waste any time in running up the scoreboard quickly.

It doesn’t take a genius to know that every time Michigan’s offense scores, Hawaii’s offense will get the ball. And every time Hawaii gets the ball is an opportunity for more pressures and sacks.

We’ll have to see, but I think it’s very possible that Michigan gets double-digit sacks in this game. The environment makes a difference too. This game is at night. The energy is just different, as the players feed off of each other’s energy, and Michigan’s players tend to play better at home under the lights.
