Will Johnson shines in his debut

One of the things I’m most excited to see when Michigan football takes the field Saturday is Will Johnson. I feel the same way about him as I did J.J. McCarthy in 2021.

Johnson is a program-changing player and while he’s expected to be among the top four corners, he’s not going to start this week. Yet, he’s going to play a lot and I expect him to do something special.

I’m going to go out on a limb and say Johnson, wearing the No. 2 will get his first career interception. The Rams should give him plenty of opportunities and that’s my one bold prediction which isn’t that bold cause Johnson is a special player who will do special things at Michigan and it will start Saturday.

Prediction

The Rams will score some points and keep it somewhat competitive. But the Wolverines total over 500 on offense and cover the spread.
