A bunch of former Michigan basketball players participated in the NBA Summer League recently and here’s how they performed.

The 2022 NBA Las Vegas Summer League is now officially in the books, as all 32 NBA teams participated, and it was a lot of fun action over the course of 11 days.

A slew of former Michigan basketball players took to the courts during NBA Summer League and got to showcase their skills on national television.

Some Wolverines played more than others, and there were definitely some high and low moments, but for the most part, every former Wolverine that played in the summer league did pretty well, and here’s a look at each former Michigan basketball player’s performance.

Eli Brooks – Indiana Pacers

For some odd reason, Eli Brooks never suited up in a single game for the Indiana Pacers. I don’t know if it was because Eli was hurt, or the staff just didn’t find him minutes, but Eli was the one I was really looking forward to seeing play in the summer league, and unfortunately, it didn’t happen.

It’s a bummer because I could’ve seen scenarios where Eli made a bunch of threes in Summer League, impressed the staff enough, and earned his way onto the roster as a role player off the bench for Indiana (a la Duncan Robinson) but it will just have to come potentially in training camp or Eli will have to work his way up from the G-League.
