Michigan Football trending for 2023 WR Fredrick Moore
Michigan football has now received a total of four expert projections for Fredrick Moore including a key one from Sam Webb of The Michigan Insider.
Once you watch the highlights of Fredrick Moore, if you haven’t already, you are going to love this kid. So you’ll be excited to learn that a number of recruiting experts are now projecting him to Michigan football in the 2023 recruiting class.
There are three Futurecast picks for Moore to wind up at Michigan, but the most significant is from Sam Webb of The Michigan Insider who is projecting the St. Louis, Missouri prospect from Cardinal Ritter High School to commit to the Wolverines.
Moore was one of the 12 recruits on campus for an official visit this weekend and while he’s ranked lower than some of the wide receiver targets on the board, he’s ranked 513th overall in the On3 consensus rankings for 2023. He is also 486th in the 247 sports composite rankings.
Illinois was another contender and still leads according to the On3 prediction machine. Michigan State was in a close second and is supposed to host Moore for an official visit next weekend but the Wolverines appear to have taken the lead.
Moore would be a great fit for Michigan football
Moore is 6-foot, 180 pounds, and ran an 11.55 in the 100 as well as a 51.43 in the 400-meter dash as a sophomore. I didn’t see any times on the track for him as a junior but his football highlights were impressive and included more than 1,000 yards receiving as well as three kickoff returns for touchdowns.
I don’t know his updated times but he seems to run by people and he showed some really nice awareness and burst after the catch, something Michigan football values at wide receiver.
Another thing I love is his return ability. He returned three kickoffs for touchdowns and that’s just another way he can contribute to Michigan football early in his career.
Jalen Brown is a five-star wideout who will be visiting later this month and the Wolverines already have Semaj Morgan committed. Add Moore and somehow Brown to that mix, and Michigan football will have a dynamic haul at wide receiver.
