3. Can they make it to the college world series again?
Perhaps this will be the spark that Michigan baseball needed to get them back to the promised land of the college baseball world. It fell one win short of bringing back a rare baseball crown to Ann Arbor in 2019. Now it will look to duplicate what it did then and send the Michigan faithful into another craze of unrelenting support.
The Wolverines won’t know for sure where or who they will be facing until midday on Monday. The 16 sites have been announced and will be hosted by the following programs: Auburn, Texas, Virginia Tech, North Carolina, Maryland, Texas A&M, Miami (Fl.), Oregon State, Florida, East Carolina, Southern Mississippi, Tennessee, Louisville, Stanford, Georgia Southern, and Oklahoma State.
Michigan Baseball will be an underdog in the NCAAs, but they have beaten a pair of very good teams the last few days in Maryland and Rutgers.

If they make noise in the tourney, it’ll be because of the offense: they’ve scored 7+ runs in 12 of the last 13 games
Tennessee or Louisville would be the closest in proximity to Ann Arbor. However, those are two of the heavy favorites to bring home the gold when all is said and done.
If you remember back in 2019 though, Michigan knocked out UCLA who was the number one team in the country coming into that postseason. They eventually lost to Vanderbilt in the world series 2 games to one.
