Despite an Achilles injury, Michigan football’s David Ojabo went in the second round of the 2022 NFL draft to the Ravens.

Keeping the ball rolling, David Ojabo has officially been selected in the NFL Draft by the Ravens in the Ravens. What a year David had for Michigan football, am I right?

From not receiving any snaps his freshman and sophomore year, with nobody knowing his name, to breaking out in 2021 with 11 sacks out of nowhere opposite of Aidan Hutchinson, the guy is on his way to the NFL. From Scotland to the Unites States, his journey to the NFL has finally come true.

His just continually got better and better as the season wore on, with his highlight plays being the two sacks he had against Penn State, his forced fumbles against Michigan State, and his sacks and forced fumble against Wisconsin.

Breaking down the fit for Baltimore

Although I didn’t write a scouting report on him, the Ravens are getting an absolute monster who will get better and better each year as he keeps learning the game of football.

David Ojabo is so raw, that his untapped potential and ceiling might be higher than Aidan Hutchinson’s when its all said and done.

To go from not receiving any snaps to generating 11 sacks in one season is nothing short of astonishing and the Ravens must be ecstatic to be getting an impact player like David Ojabo.

Although he won’t be able to play his rookie year because of that devastating ACL tear, I expect a full recovery from him and for him to dominate next year.

Myself and the GBM Wolverine writers wish David all the best in the NFL, as we all know he will do amazing things. Go Blue!
