ESPN’s Matt Miller’s 7-Round Mock Draft

Matt Miller, formerly of Bleacher Report, put out his own seven-round mock draft ($) more recently and had a couple of Michigan players making the cut. First off, EDGE Aidan Hutchinson only takes a small trip down I-94 to find his new NFL home, being #2 overall to the Detroit Lions. S Daxton Hill meanwhile, heads to Philadelphia, being selected by the Eagles with the #18 overall selection. Like Reuter’s mock draft, however, EDGE David Ojabo slides from the first round, landing with the Seattle Seahawks at pick #41 overall.

Michigan DB Vincent Gray, listed as a safety in this one (good call!), reunites with former defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald in Baltimore, selected with pick #139, a fourth-round surprise. DT Chris Hinton makes another appearance in the sixth round, going #186 to the Chicago Bears.

Miller actually did catch Haskins’s five-touchdown performance against Ohio State, as he has him included, going in the seventh round to the Las Vegas Raiders with the 227th overall pick. LB Josh Ross also makes a surprise appearance as well, though he goes #253 overall to the Los Angeles Rams and is listed as an EDGE player. Given his limited speed, that could be an option for him at the next level.
