As the NFL Draft begins tomorrow evening, there has been a rush of final mock drafts, with several Michigan football players included.

So many mock drafts it can be hard to keep up with them. But we have you covered here at GBMWolverine, taking a look at several prominent mock drafts to see where a handful of Michigan football players are ending up.

NFL.com’s Chad Reuter’s 7-Round Mock Draft

Published last Friday, April 22nd, Reuter went through all seven rounds with predictions. Most prominent for Michigan was EDGE Aidan Hutchinson going #1 overall to the Jaguars, with S Daxton Hill landing in the first round as well, #26 overall to the Kansas City Chiefs. EDGE David Ojabo slide just a bit due to his unfortunate Achilles injury at Michigan’s Pro Day but found a strong landing spot in the second round to the Green Bay Packers with the #53 overall selection.

Reuter also had DT Chris Hinton making an appearance, landing with the local Detroit Lions in the 6th round, the #217 overall pick. And lastly, OT Andrew Stueber lands with the New England Patriots in the 7th round, selected #245 overall.

While the effort behind a seven-round draft is impressive, there are a lot of questionable takes from Reuter here, such as the inclusion of Rutgers RB Isaih Pacheco to the Detroit Lions in the fifth-round, but no mention whatsoever of Michigan RB Hassan Haskins. This is odd given Haskins produced 1,327 yards and 20 touchdowns in 2021, while only combined for 1,280 yards and 10 touchdowns in the last two seasons at Rutgers. Reuter clearly missed 2021’s iteration of The Game to not have Haskins included in a seven-round draft.
