Brandon Murray, LSU

Unless Hunter Dickinson throws us all a curveball, there should be at least two spots available for a transfer and it would be great if one of them could be for a wing.

Another option Michigan basketball should consider is LSU guard Brandon Murray who just entered the transfer portal this week.

Murray is a 6-foot-5 shooting guard that played one season at LSU. He was a top-100 recruit ranking 89th overall in the 247 sports composite rankings and he was a solid defender for the Tigers last season and perimeter defense is a huge need this offseason.

He averaged 10 points a game and started 31 games for the Tigers. He also shot 33 percent from 3-point range and made 1.2 3-point field goals per game. He also played at IMG Academy so that will make him familiar with the Howards.

Murray could be a plug-and-play guy at shooting guard and since he ranked 18th among SEC guards in defensive win shares, he would be a lights-out addition.
