2. All five starters were stat stuffers

The bench didn’t have to do much in this one as Michigan’s starting five produced in bunches. Hunter Dickinson did his usual thing with a rebound shy of a double-double and connecting on four attempts from beyond the arc. On a side note with Dickinson, it would be wise to keep an eye on him with a potential lower leg injury creeping up in the future.

Caleb Houstan and Eli Brooks found their stroke as well. Both nailed four bombs a piece from 3-point range. As a whole, the trio of Houstan, Brooks, and Dickinson made 12 from out there. They shot it at a 57% rate in the win. Brooks appears to be finding his rhythm and it couldn’t happen at a more perfect time for the Wolverines.

Moussa Diabate’s energy on the court is contagious. The rest of his teammates feed off of him and that proved to be the case in this blowout. DeVante’ Jones handed out plenty of gifts tonight. He had a team-high 10 assists. For the record, the five starters combined for 80 of the 82 points. Brandon Johns slammed home an easy dunk with a nifty pass from Dickinson for the other two.
