What’s next?

We still haven’t heard anything official about the return of Mike Hart and that has me a little worried. Harbaugh got a deal done with Moore and that was huge. It also sounds like Clink, Weiss and the rest of the coaching staff will return.

However, there have been whispers about Hart not being happy after Jim Harbaugh’s look at the NFL and that he could possibly have NFL teams coming after him.

The easy way to solve this is for Michigan football to put its money where its mouth is. Hart was the top in-house candidate to be Harbaugh’s replacement and U-M can’t let him get away.

Hart made a huge impact on the culture and he’s one of the best running back coaches in the business. He’s a good recruiter too and showed that with Cole Cobana. He does still need to land some elite talent but he helped get the most out of the running backs last season and it would be an absolute shame if Harbaugh let him escape somewhere else.

Next. 3 things Jim Harbaugh must do. dark

And if Jim can lock him up long-term, then the Wolverines can finalize their staff and move forward to next season with Harbaugh as the head coach, ready to take a shot at a Big Ten title repeat.
