2. Devante’ Jones needs to have another flawless game

While it may seem obvious, we’ve yet to see the consistency from DeVante Jones as we have from others on the team. While Devante can make you scratch your head at times, he can also display such dominance that you’re mesmerized.

In the last few games, Devante has been playing the brand of basketball that Michigan basketball has expected from its point guards over the years. He’s physical, he gets to the rim and has been able to move the ball and control the offense.

Jones needs to do that again against Michigan State, his success is a key aspect of how well Michigan basketball does — similar to Hunter Dickinson.

Jones has had turnover trouble against good defenses, and Michigan State will have one of the best defenses he’s faced in his whole career, so what will Michigan get out of him? I guess we’ll have to see.
