Projected Wide Receiver Depth Chart

X Receiver

WR1 – Ronnie Bell (Grad)

WR2 – A.J Henning (Junior)

Slot Receiver

WR1 – Mike Sainristil (Senior)

WR2 – Roman Wilson (Junior)

Z Receiver

WR1 – Cornelius Johnson (Senior)

WR2 – Andrel Anthony (Sophmore)

While this is a lot to unpack, and there is plenty of room for debate this is what I forecast the situation to be. I would expect to see a lot of A.J Henning however as “WR2” is a little misleading for all these guys.

Michigan will run a large rotation in 2022 most likely at the reciever position so it’s not totally out of the realm of possibility to see someone from here transfer. I think the most likely would be Henning as he was a highly touted recruit who’d start at most schools. Hopefully, Michigan football keeps him involved enough to where he sticks it out.

I think there is also a lot of room for adjusting where each player fits on the line. Obviously, that could be the biggest change this season. I think moving Roman to the slot instead of the outside would prove to be a major mismatch in favor of Michigan against most teams.
