Michigan generates 2+ turnovers

This will be one of the boldest predictions.

Overall this season, Michigan football hasn’t generated a ton of turnovers. David Ojabo by himself has forced five fumbles and that led to some key takeaways.

There’s been some interceptions made, the most memorable being Daxton Hill’s pick against Nebraska, and DJ Turner’s pick against Northwestern, but overall this year, Michigan hasn’t generated turnovers like Iowa has or any of the top teams.

Hopefully, this changes. And I predict it does. Sometimes, Michigan’s defensive backs have dropped easy interceptions, and other times, there have been unlucky calls, but, I expect Michigan’s defense to come up with at least two turnovers.

Georgia QB Stetson Bennett doesn’t throw a lot of interceptions, just like Cade, but in this game, I think he throws at least one, and I predict it’s either to DJ Turner or Daxton Hill.

When Georgia passes, they will try to get the ball to their tight end, Brock Bowers, as much as possible. He’s 6-foot-7 after all. It only makes sense.

I think that Bennett will accidentally throw a ball too low when trying to throw it up to Bowers somewhere on the field, and it will go into the waiting hands of either Turner or Hill.

For the last turnover, I think David Ojabo gets a forced fumble turnover. I really think that Aidan Hutchinson will have too much attention paid to him, and Ojabo will take advantage of it, overwhelm the tackle, and force at least one fumble turnover.

This last answer may seem like a cop-out, but hey, David has five forced fumbles. He’s a threat to smack one out of the quarterback’s hands on any snap.

Most of these predictions may not happen, and that’s okay, but it’s just for fun. All I want to see is a good, competitive game in the end. Once again, I will say Georgia fans shouldn’t underestimate Michigan. It’s going to be a fun New Year’s!
