Hello and welcome to the 2021 Early Signing Day tracker for Michigan football. We will follow all signings, flips, and news for the Wolverines.

Every year, things get crazy before Early Signing Day and that happened again on Tuesday night. Michigan football seemed like it was headed for a huge day Wednesday and it still could be, but a lot of recruitments are up in the air.

For starters, Deone Walker is trending to Kentucky and it looks like the Wildcats will be his final pick. Michigan controlled most of the expert projections until last night when Sam Webb and others flipped their picks to UK.

Michigan football is also poised to lose a commitment as Ethan Burke, an edge rusher from Texas who just committed, was offered by Texas Tuesday and has been trending with crystal ball projections to the Longhorns.

But, not all the news is bad. Michigan football is in a position to flip Virginia Tech commitment Alex Orji, a top-500 quarterback ranked as a three-star recruit. Numerous experts still have their projections in for U-M to flip Amorion Walker and most importantly, the Wolverines still have a shot at three recruits ranked in the top 150.

Darrius Clemons, Keon Sabb, and Derrick Moore have all been trending with projections to the Wolverines in recent days and while Sabb and Clemons are more in doubt, Michigan seems to be the favorite with all three heading into signing day.

Now, let’s get to it as some Wolverines have already put pen to paper including some key names early such as three-star Damani Dent who Miami pushed hard for late.

Live Updates

Michigan football continues to have a huge signing day as Darrius Clemons has now committed to signing with the Wolverines. Clemons is ranked in the top 150 of the 247 sports composite rankings and is 6-foot-3. He also runs the 40 in 4.37. He’s going to be dynamic.

In another addition to the 2022 class, Michigan flipped former Virginia Tech commitment Alex Orji. He has now signed with the Wolverines. He’s a three-star quarterback who could also play other positions down the road due to his athleticism.

Keon Sabb has committed to Michigan! The Wolverines have a special secondary class, probably as good as anyone in the country.

In a big hit, in-state defensive tackle has officially announced for Kentucky. Yesterday, Michigan had the lead but Kentucky has always been a threat and pulled off the win late.

Michigan football has suffered its first decommitment and flip of the 2022 recruiting class. Ethan Burke has signed with Texas.

Yet, soon after Michigan football pulled off a flip of its own, finally landing three-star wideout Amorion Walker after a long pursuit and a great job recruiting by Ron Bellamy.
