4-star DT Deone Walker  — Prediction: Michigan

Deone Walker has been one of the most interesting recruits for Michigan throughout the 2022 cycle. The Wolverines were the first school to offer the Detroit Cass Tech standout and while he’s flirted with Kentucky and other SEC schools, U-M has also made a strong push.

The Wolverines got the final visit and the final word in his recruitment and while the Wildcats received some predictions from On3.com and one crystal ball, the Wolverines own the vast majority of expert picks. It’s not a done deal but my gut is leaning Michigan.

The Michigan recruiting experts — Sam Webb, Steve Lorenz, EJ Holland, and Brice Marich are all sticking with their picks which is a good sign on the eve of Early Signing Day.

3-star WR/DB Amorion Walker — Prediction: Michigan

Deone Walker and Amorion Walker are two recruits to watch on Wednesday. Amorion doesn’t have a decision time and is technically committed to Notre Dame.

Yet, the Wolverines have been pushing hard to flip him and the charge has been led by Ron Bellamy who is also from Louisiana.

You wonder if C.J. Williams de-committing from Notre Dame will have an impact on Walker. That could lead Notre Dame to make a strong push to keep him and while there is confidence on both sides, Michigan has made momentum and I think he sides with the Wolverines.

3-star WR Koen Entringer — Prediction: Iowa

There is some buzz around Entringer joining Michigan’s class. The in-state prospect is making a decision at 3:00 PM ET and one of his teammates said his pick was in for U-M.

That carries some weight and despite being a lower-ranked three-star recruit, he feels like a take for Michigan football and we’ll see if the Wolverines can add him to what should be a big haul on Early National Signing Day.

Next. What to expect on signing day. dark
