Breaking down recent recruiting projections for Michigan football
Michigan football has solid momentum on the recruiting trail and with early signing day just days away, here’s a look at recent projections by recruiting experts.
It’s hard to believe that early national signing day for the 2022 recruiting class is coming up on Wednesday, but it’s happening and it could be a big day for Michigan football.
The Wolverines are already in a solid position in the 2022 class. U-M has 20 verbal commitments and is ranked ninth currently according to the 247 sports team rankings for 2022.
U-M has also added a player who will essentially count as a 2022 recruit in terms of scholarship and that’s former top-100 offensive lineman Andrew Gentry. He was committed to Virginia but went on a religious mission and is now ready to play college football, which he will do at U-M.
So the 2022 recruiting class is even better than it looks. But how much better will it get by Wednesday?
Well, the Wolverines have been trending with expert predictions for some 2022 recruits and we break it all down by recruit.
Keon Sabb — Nine expert picks for Michigan football
Keon Sabb is one of the top names left on the board in 2022 and after he decommitted from Clemson, the Wolverines have been trending hard. Two crystal ball projections have come in, while a total of seven experts for On3.com have projected Sabb to Michigan, including EJ Holland.
Sabb is 6-foot-2, 210 ponds, and is ranked as the No. 92 overall prospect in the 247 sports composite rankings for 2022. He is expected to make his decision on early signing day and right now, all signs are pointing towards a Michigan football win in this recruitment.
