Hutch for Heisman

The Big Ten title game was a quiet outing for Aidan Hutchinson (that’s a joke) since he was only able to finish with one sack.

He was a force throughout. Time after time, he simply ran over the Iowa offensive lineman trying to block him. On his sack, he knocked two Iowa players out of the way to get to Spencer Petras.

To finish with 14 sacks is incredible. But Hutchinson also led the country in pressure rate and he wreaks havoc on the quarterback from start to finish.

Not only is he the best pass rusher in the country, but he’s also the best defensive player, period. And without his leadership and his force of will, Michigan wouldn’t be the Big Ten champion.

Bryce Young deserves the Heisman after his performance against Georgia. It’s hard to argue that. But Aidan Hutchinson should be the runner-up and just like Charles Woodson, he deserves to go.
