Michigan basketball will look to rebound against UNLV on Friday night/Saturday morning and here are the odds as well as our prediction.

In one of the strangest time slots Michigan basketball has played in, the Wolverines will be in Las Vegas Friday night to take on UNLV.

Tip-off in Vegas is happening Friday night. Fans in Pacific, Mountain, and Central time will see the game start Friday night, while Eastern time zone fans will have to wait until after midnight with a 12:30 PM EST start time.

Michigan is in Vegas for a tournament and the winner of tonight’s game will face either Arizona or Witchita State on Sunday night.

The Rebels are 128th in the Kenpom rankings, while Michigan basketball dropped to third after its loss to Seton Hall on Tuesday. It was a disappointment, especially with the Wolverines leading by 11 points at home, but shooting woes and defensive mistakes cost U-M.

Michigan does have three veterans in Hunter Dickinson, Eli Brooks, and Brandon Johns. But Johns has struggled and DeVante Jones has taken a minute to adjust. Caleb Houstan too.

It was going to take a minute to gel and hopefully, this trip will give this team a chance to do that. Michigan needs a win over the Rebels and outside of the weird timing, it should get one.

Here’s a look at everything you need to know: how to watch, how to stream, the odds, as well as a prediction for Michigan against UNLV.

Michigan basketball vs UNLV Odds and Prediction

According to WynnBet, the Wolverines are a 12.5-point favorite going into tonight’s game against the Rebels. The over/under is set for 135.5.

UNLV is 3-0 but is in the first year under new head coach Kevin Kruger and it’s trying to find itself. Bryce Hamilton is a 6-foot-4 guard who is a really good player. Donovan Williams is another strong offensive threat and he stands at 6-foot-6.

Those guys could give Michigan some problems but the Rebels don’t have anyone who can match-up with Hunter Dickinson inside and the big man should have a field day.

I see Michigan winning this one by the score of 79-61.
