3. Keep a Cool Head

During the Jim Harbaugh era, when the Wolverines and Terrapins meet there’s been a theme from the Terrapins.

Spoiler alert, it’s not winning.

During each of the last several matchups, there has been either a targeting call, personal foul, late hit out of bounds, roughing the passer, or other extracurricular play that could be considered “dirty”.

No, we aren’t saying the Terrapins are a “dirty” program. But there is clearly some animosity from their side of things.

Michigan football cannot afford to retaliate against any potential “extracurricular” action Maryland does. The saying “cooler heads prevail”, well, that has meaning. And it will this week as well.

Stick to the game plan. Don’t let this game turn into an emotional dog fight.
