Cade McNamara is Mr. Steady

All year Cade McNamara has been trying to prove he deserves to be the starting quarterback and he has. But that Michigan State game would have been a defining moment except for the loss.

This is his next chance to win a big game and to be clear, he has already won some big games this season, I don’t care what people say.

At any rate, McNamara will be the same guy he was in the other road games this season. He’ll be efficient, he will take care of the ball and he will lead Michigan on scoring drives. It’s what he does.

Not all the drives end in touchdowns and they won’t on Saturday either. Erick All will hopefully be back and I’d expect to see him targeted a bunch and I think we’ll see a few really long drives by the Wolverines.

A lack of touchdowns will keep it close but Penn State has only scored 30 points against one Power-5 team this season and I don’t think it gets 20 against the Wolverines.

Michigan kicks three field goals but also converts on a two-pointer and wins the game.

Final score: Michigan 24, Penn State 17
