The Michigan football team will try to rebound Saturday against Indiana and here are the odds as well as our prediction.

It’s hard to feel good as a Michigan football fan right now, in wake of the Wolverines soul-crushing loss to Michigan State last Saturday.

But the best news is that Saturday is creeping closer and so is the matchup with the Indiana Hoosiers. From what Jim Harbaugh and his players said Monday, this Michigan football team will be ready to go.

The Wolverines know they blew an opportunity and even though they weren’t given a “fair shake” to use Harbaugh’s words, they still would have left East Lansing with a win if they executed.

But the season isn’t over. Far from it. Michigan football is 7-1 and ranked ninth in the AP Poll. U-M should be close to the Top 10 in the College Football Playoff rankings, which means a shot a major bowl game and an outside shot at the playoff if the Wolverines somehow win out.

Outside of all that, this team should be extremely motivated to beat the Hoosiers. Last year’s squad was the first in decades to lose to Indiana and it’s time to right that wrong and enact a little payback.

According to WynnBET’s Week 10 odds for college football, the Wolverines are a 19.5-point favorite against Indiana for Saturday night’s game at the Big House. The over/under is 51.

Michigan Football vs Indiana Prediction Week 10

Michigan football is 5-2 against the spread this season and prior to Michigan State, the only other time the Wolverines didn’t cover the spread was a home game against Rutgers.

A big key for Indiana will be whether quarterback Michael Penix Jr. is able to start or not. He’s been injured for most of the season and if he’s able to play, it could be a more competitive game.

In four games against Iowa, Michigan State, Penn State, and Ohio State, the Hoosiers scored a total of 28 points. Yes, their quarterback has been hurt but the offense is hurting for skill guys and while the defense isn’t terrible, it just keeps collapsing over time.

Our prediction is that a very motivated Michigan football team takes its anger out on the Hoosiers and whoever is playing quarterback — is going to take the brunt of that frustration.

The Wolverines will win and they will do so in a convincing fashion — 38-10.
