Michigan Football: 3 Reasons Wolverines will beat Spartans

The battle for The Paul Bunyan Trophy. Houses divided. Friends at war. That’s what happens come Michigan-Michigan State week. No matter what your friends think and whatever trash they talk, block out the noise.
For the first time in the history of the rivalry, Michigan football, and Michigan State enter this game undefeated at 7-0.
Both are ranked inside the top ten in both the coaches poll and the AP poll, these respective teams not only are contending for the Big Ten East division but also a potential College Football Playoff Birth.
Led by Heisman Trophy candidate, Kenneth Walker III, the Michigan State Spartans are improved over last year in nearly every statical category on offense.
To date, this is the toughest challenge Michigan has faced. Heck, Ray Charles could tell you that.
Michigan football is legit, there’s no doubt about it. But what we don’t know is how “for real” these Spartans are.
Despite their undefeated record, Michigan State hasn’t played a team that is currently ranked yet. And if this isn’t the ultimate “prove it” type of game, then I don’t know what is.
