These are the three most absurd overreactions from Michigan football’s nail-biting victory over Nebraska on Saturday night.

The Wolverines were in prime position to coast to another convincing win on Saturday evening, but things got interesting in the second half as Nebraska made Michigan football sweat for its sixth win of the season.

Michigan’s defense stood tall when it needed to though, by setting up the offense with a game-sealing turnover to end the threat of what would have been a colossal upset in Lincoln.

1. Nebraska is not a plausible road victory

This is an overreaction that is most certainly not true. The Cornhuskers got down early but furiously fought their way back to put Michigan in a hole it almost couldn’t get out of. Nebraska is a viable opponent that is honestly only a couple of plays away from being better than Huskers’ current record stands.

The atmosphere was palpable from the initial snap. It made Michigan football jump on several false start penalties because they couldn’t hear the snap count from whoever was in at quarterback on the play.

Even the head official was not being heard when he was calling the infractions because the crowd was so loud.

Scott Frost is definitely leading his alma mater on the right path to future success. It has taken a lot longer than anyone in Nebraska may have wanted, but if they stick to the script, then they are a sure-fire bet to surprise someone who is not expecting it and that is bound to happen soon enough.
