This team is for real

It’s been a perfect storm so far this season for Michigan football as just about everything has gone right for the Wolverines.

They have created their own breaks but Jim Harbaugh deserves a lot of credit for the turnaround. His assistant coach hires have worked out brilliantly and so far this season, he’s got the Midas touch.

And after another win on the road against a pretty salty Nebraska team, there’s no doubt that this Michigan football team is for real.

There are some huge tests down the road. After the bye week, Northwestern comes to Ann Arbor, and then there is the trip to East Lansing in what could be a game of undefeated teams.

Then, Michigan football faces a trip to Penn State before hosting Ohio State in the final game of the season. The goal should always be for that game to be for the Big Ten East title.

There is plenty of work to do but halfway through the season, Michigan is right there and that has to feel good after the past two seasons.

The job is not done. However, Michigan football fans should enjoy this 6-0 feeling.
