After barely escaping Rutgers last week winning 20-13 Michigan football will bring a 4-0 record into Wisconsin where they haven’t won since 2001. What will it need to do to win?

The Michigan football team looked mortal last week as the Wolverines were in a surprisingly close game against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights.

A game in which Michigan was favored to win by 21 points, it managed to escape with a seven-point win — and to be honest, it felt like it was closer than that.

Now, entering week 5 and bringing a 4-0 record on the flight to Madison, the Wolverines are looking to win their first game on the road against the Badgers since 2001.

We all know what happened last year. A 49-11 Wisconsin bludgeoning.

But this Wolverine team, they’re different. While there’s no doubt this will be a tough game, the likelihood of a blowout like the one we saw last year — for either team — is highly unlikely.

To win, Michigan needs to put the offensive woes it put on the field against Rutgers last week in the past and keep it there. But there are some other things the Wolverines need to do if they want to end the 20-year losing streak against the Badgers when playing in Madison.

In fact, there are 3 keys to beating Wisconsin, so let’s get into it.
