Following a big win over Washington, Michigan football played itself back in the AP Top 25. Here’s a look at that and more from around the Big Ten.

For Michigan football fans, Week 2 could have not gone much better. The Wolverines had a convincing 31-10 win over Washington to move back into the polls at No. 25.

Additionally, arch-rival Ohio State suffered a shocking home loss to Oregon 35-28.

The Ducks were without two star players defensive end Kayvon Thibodeaux and Justin Flowe but still pulled off the upset.

A Notre Dame loss would have made for a perfect capper to the weekend but the Fighting Irish narrowly escaped Toledo 32-29. Ohio State moved down six spots to no. 9 and the Fighting Irish moved down four spots to No. 12 despite the win.

Through the first two weeks, there has already been a ton of movement in the top 10.

Ohio State joins Clemson and Iowa State among top-10 teams with losses already on their resume. Iowa State still cannot get over the hump against its in-state rival Iowa, falling 27-10.

Iowa now claims the No. 5 spot in the rankings. The Hawkeyes have one of the most impressive resumes in the country at the moment with convincing wins over Indiana and Iowa State. The Hawkeyes have the look of a contender in the Big Ten West.

As for the rest of the Big Ten, Penn State moved up one spot to No. 10 ahead of its matchup with No. 22 Auburn. A Nittany Lions win would move up Michigan football at least one spot assuming a win over Northern Illinois. Wisconsin maintained its position at No. 18 in the rankings.
