Michigan Football vs Washington: Injury report, live Stream, TV channel and betting preview
Michigan football will play Washington under the lights at the Big House Saturday night and here’s all the key info on injuries, betting, how to watch, and more.
The Big House is going to be rocking Saturday night as Michigan football will be holding a Maize Out as the Wolverines host Washington.
That means every fan in attendance should be wearing Maize, although some on social media have said they will wear what they want.
We’ll see. Either way, the atmosphere should be electric, which is a good thing considering it might be the most important recruiting weekend of Jim Harbaugh’s Michigan football career.
Numerous five-star recruits will be in attendance, including a trio of five-star targets in 2022 and five-star quarterback Dante Moore from Detroit, who is the top target in Michigan’s entire 2023 recruiting class.
The Wolverines need a win to help solidify recruiting. Plus a non-conference win over Washington which is a really talented team despite the upset loss last week would give this Michigan football a ton of momentum heading into Big Ten play.
For a more in-depth breakdown, here are my five predictions for the Wolverines against Washington, and here’s a look at all the key info you need:
Michigan football vs Washington Injury report
Both teams are dealing with injuries at wide receiver. Michigan is without Ronnie Bell who is lost for the season, while Washington was down four wideouts last week.
Terrell Bynum, Rome Odunze, and Jalen McMillan could all potentially return for Washington on Saturday night. Jimmy Lake said all three players are “Week-to-week” so that’s something to watch tonight.
On the Michigan side of things, the other injury of note is to Zak Zinter. Zinter played last week with a cast on his hand but he didn’t get the start.
However, he was called Michigan’s best offensive player by Josh Gattis this offseason — not just the best offensive lineman — and his impact was felt when he was on the field.
My guess is that we see him in the starting lineup today and if not, that will mean that Zinter still isn’t 100 percent.
Michigan football vs Washington Odds and Betting Pick Week 2
WynnBET’s Week 2 odds have Michigan football favored by 6.5 points against the Huskies on Saturday night. The matchup also has an over/under of 51.
It’s hard to get a feel for Washington after last week’s loss to Montana, but it’s safe to say that wasn’t the Huskies’ best effort.
I would expect Michigan football to get that and more from Washington in a nationally-televised game. And while it didn’t look like it last week, Washington has a talented offensive line and its defense allowed just 13 points and has been one of the stingiest in college football.
Washington will play better and it’s going to be a hard-fought game, but we are predicting Michigan football wins a relatively low-scoring game, 27-17.
