Northwestern

The thing about Michigan’s schedule is there aren’t a lot of easy wins. Michigan has two MAC teams on the schedule and a win over Washington would get Michigan to three.

But in the Big Ten, nothing will come easy. Rutgers won three games last year and the other home games are against Northwestern, Indiana, and Ohio State.

With the way the Wolverines have struggled to win on the road under Harbaugh, especially against ranked teams, U-M needs to take care of business at the Big House and that means beating Northwestern and essentially winning all home games outside of OSU.

If Michigan can do that, the Wolverines would just need road wins over Maryland, Nebraska, and Michigan State to post a 9-3 regular-season record.

But first, Michigan has to beat Northwestern which won’t be easy.
