Iowa State, home-and-home

I don’t really know how long Iowa State will be good, because their head coach Matt Campbell is a hot commodity in the NFL, but for the sake of this, let’s just assume he stays.

Now, this would be a great home-and-home series. Michigan has never played Iowa State in all its years of playing.

Michigan has played Iowa many times, so why not schedule Iowa’s biggest rival, their in-state rival Iowa State? Iowa State is 109th all-time in winning percentage.

This would be a very fun and intriguing matchup due to the fact that Michigan football fans really wanted Matt Campbell last offseason to be the head coach, but he signed an extension with Iowa State a few months ago.

This game would benefit Michigan since most teams in the Big-12 hardly play defense. Also, now that Iowa State is probably going to be good for the next 5-10 years, their fans will really start to show up and get loud. Going to Ames would be hostile, but also fun. Same as the Big House.
