Michigan Basketball: 5 Bold predictions for Wolverines in March Madness
Another Sweet 16?
Michigan basketball has made the Sweet 16 in each of its last three NCAA Tournament appearances and that’s a streak the Wolverines hope to continue this weekend.
While the prospects of advancing that far aren’t quite as good without Livers, one of the best 3-point shooters and two-way players in the Big Ten, Michigan is still very good and has an easier draw than most teams.
The Wolverines are going to have to play and most importantly, shoot well to win that round of 32 game. Michigan didn’t play poorly against Ohio State but didn’t make shots from deep until it was too late.
Chaundee Brown and Mike Smith only made one 3-pointer. Those guys, Johns and also Franz Wagner need to make more shots from deep.
Plus, Dickinson needs to play like Dickinson, especially when he was dominating, which will be easier against teams that don’t know him as well.
After the Sweet 16, anything can happen, but Michigan will at least get there for the fourth straight time.
