Who wins?

This feels like it could be a nail-biter, just like we saw last Sunday against Wisconsin, although hopefully, Michigan doesn’t fall behind by double digits in the first half.

Slowing down E.J. Liddell is going to be a big key and there are a few different options to guard him. Franz Wagner or Isaiah Livers seem like the best options.

It wouldn’t be surprising to see Austin Davis make a few buckets, but he tends to foul a lot and the Wolverines should guard against playing him too much. Chaundee Brown should also play more minutes in this game. His defense and shooting will be needed.

If Michigan can essentially be even with Ohio State on 3-point makes and free throws, then the Wolverines interior game and their 2-point dominance should carry them to victory.

Yet, winning on the road in the Big Ten is never easy and we’ve seen a few Michigan teams have inexplicably cold-shooting games in Columbus.

But as long as that doesn’t happen Sunday, I think Michigan wins by a bucket.
