The Michigan basketball team is on pause for another week, so in the downtime, we take a look at the uniforms of the Big Ten and where they rank.

If you want to start an argument with college fans you start with how their football team is. You may then go in on their basketball team. Those both will surely start a fight.

But another way to get under their skin is to bring up their uniforms. Uniforms have always been a big talking point, but it has gotten even bigger with Nike, Adidas, and Under Armour getting heavily involved. Each team wants to one-up the other and have the freshest look on the field or court.

A lot of times they try too hard and it becomes a disaster. It is amazing how many teams end up going back to their original look. It has happened a ton in the NBA and baseball.

When a team pulls out a retro look, it is normally the best look they have. Nebraska, Rutgers, and Michigan State all would look amazing if they just stuck with their throwback looks and that is just the teams in the Big Ten.

While we much rather be talking about Michigan basketball’s number four ranking and quest for a Big Ten title, the downtime has given us a chance to look at the BIg Ten’s uniforms and where they rank.

So without further ado, we rank each team’s basketball uniforms for this year and be ready to argue.
