Michigan Basketball: How to watch and stream Wolverines vs Ball State
Michigan basketball will have a quick turnaround after beating Oakland in overtime and here’s how to watch and stream the Wolverines vs Ball State.
The Michigan basketball team won’t have a ton of time to ponder its close escape against Oakland as the Wolverines will be back in the Crisler Center on Wednesday night.
Just like last Wednesday, Michigan basketball will host a team from the MAC as the Ball State Cardinals will take on U-M. Ball State (0-1) is actually ranked even higher than Bowling Green in the Kenpom rankings and the Cardinals will come in at No. 131 whereas the Falcons were 164.
Michigan basketball, on the other hand, checks in at No. 25 following a rough outing against the Golden Grizzlies Sunday night. The Wolverines were up to 15 in the Kenpom and dropped 10 spots to No. 25. U-M also dropped out of the AP poll despite winning their first two games.
Last season, Ball State posted an 11-7 record in the MAC and the Cardinals won’t be a pushover. In fact, they should be the toughest opponent Michigan has played up to this point.

If the Cardinals are going to have success, slowing down the tempo as Oakland was able to do would help and according to Kenpom, Ball State is 243rd in pace. Michigan is No. 171, which is much lower than the Wolverines want to be.
Oakland was a weird matchup with their zone defense and even if Ball State uses some of those concepts it won’t be the same thing.
One would think that after turning the ball over 20 times and nearly losing to a team ranked in the bottom 300 of the country, Michigan basketball would be plenty motivated on both ends of the floor for this one.
Of course, fans and observers will be looking to see if Hunter Dickinson joins the starting lineup on Wednesday night and the rotation as a whole is something to watch as its still in flux.
At any rate, we won’t have to wait long to see how Michigan basketball responds to its effort against Oakland and here’s all the key info you need for how to watch, stream and listen:
