Michigan basketball will open its season Wednesday against Bowling Green and here’s how to watch, stream and listen to the Wolverines in their opener.

It’s hard to believe and we might not actually believe it until we see it, but Michigan basketball is returning this week and the first game is just two days away.

The last time we saw the Wolverines, they were getting their tournament game canceled in the Big Ten. Then, the NCAA tournament was canceled and Juwan Howard’s first trip to the Big Dance, along with the final rides for Xavier Simpson and Jon Teske were called off.

Now, after a bunch of roster movement that included departures such as David DeJulius, Colin Castleton and Cole Bajema, while also featuring the addition of transfer Chaundee Brown and Mike Smith, as well as the top recruiting class in the Big Ten in 2020.

Michigan basketball did hit the floor last Friday for a intrasquad scrimmage and here’s our review of what happened there including a 26-point effort from Franz Wagner, who was also recently voted as First-Team All-Big Ten.

We also recently took a look at who could be in the starting lineup on Wednesday night for the Wolverines, but also the lineup could be fluid. The main thing we know is that eight guys will play the most: Wagner, Isaiah Livers, Smith, Brown, Austin Davis, Hunter Dickinson, Eli Brooks and Brandon Johns.

I’m worried less about who starts the game and more about how Howard is able to blend all those talents together because there are some interesting lineup combinations, especially if Johns is utilized more at the five this year.

In the next two days, we will have plenty more coverage on Michigan basketball as it gets set to start the 2020-21 season but here’s the key info for how to watch, stream and listen to the Wolverines take on Bowling Green, which will be the first of four non-conference games.
