2. They have no fire

There has been a gif floating around Twitter of Harbaugh ripping of his jacket and then asking where did this guy go? That is a great question. There may have been times when we though he went overboard but at least he was showing some emotion.

In last nights game against Wisconsin there seemed to be absolutely no emotion from Harbaugh. Yes the game got out of hand early, but there was nothing. The team feeds off of that. They look to their head coach and assistants for guidance and if there is no fire from them, they tend to have no fire themselves.

The defense looked more alive the first drive, but then Milton threw the interception and it was all gone. But the problem is even if you lost it right then, the game was still just 7-0 and very early. The game was not over. Get that fire back and go hit someone.

They had some fire in their belly against Minnesota but there has been none since. Football is a game of momentum and you build that by flying around and having a swagger to you. Their is no swagger from the Wolverines and that starts at the top.

I am not saying Harbaugh has to go crazy on the players but show some sort of emotion. Maybe he went overboard in his first years at Michigan, but man we knew exactly how much he cared about it. Now it almost looks like he couldn’t care less.

If that is the problem, then forget about the x’s and o’s, he needs to go. If he has no fire to be here and to show it then he might as well not even be there. It starts at the top and Harbaugh needs to show some fire. If he can’t the team won’t. And if they don’t have it they aren’t going to win.
