It’s a remarkable feeling to have Michigan football back once again.

From the first snap to the last it felt like things were back to normal again, even if it was only for a couple of hours.

Getting to dissect a game with endless reactions is one of the most enjoyable things we get to do when following sports in this country. It’s an emotion that some of us never want to end.

After having to wait an extra month for the season to get underway, it sure is great to see the boys out there getting their shot at some real competition.

Practicing for months with nothing to show for it can be depressing and thankfully this weekend put a halt to all of that. With only eight games presumably left, nothing should be taken for granted when it comes to this ever again.

So in regards to next week, a rivalry is renewed as Michigan State heads down I-96 to the Big House for the home opener.

Next. Looking back at predictions for Minnesota. dark

The Spartans are in serious trouble after falling at home to Rutgers in a matchup that they probably anticipated to win. Next Saturday could be a welcome to the Big Ten moment for Mel Tucker who will learn all about the classic mitten state clash live in person.
