#2: Michigan

I think Michigan basketball has a really good shot at landing Caleb Houstan. The fit makes more sense in my opinion than Duke and the style of play fits way better than Virginia. Houstan would give Michigan’s class exactly what they are missing, a scoring wing.

Michigan already has its point guard. The Wolverines have their shooting guard. They have a good four year forward in Tschetter. They are just missing that one big-time player in the class. Houstan would fill that role.

Not only does Houstan fit well in this class for Michigan, he’d fit well on the team as far as having a great opportunity to contribute as a freshman. After this season, Michigan basketball will lose starting PF Isaiah Livers and will likely lose starting SF Franz Wagner.

Caleb Houstan would join Michigan to start the 2021-22 season as the obvious choice to start at one of the open wing spots. His size and shooting ability will be much needed for a Michigan basketball team that will likely be losing its top two scorers.

Here’s what Houston had to say about Michigan while speaking to 247Sports:

"“(Juwan Howard) played 19 years in the NBA himself and that can help me a lot. He’s somebody that has been there before and done it so he knows a lot about the game, especially at the next level and what It takes. There’s a fit for me in terms of style of play. I fit in their halfcourt and transition of how they play and the relationship with coaches is there.”"

Howard has put Michigan basketball in great position once again to land a five-star top prospect. Houstan is a great fit for the Wolverines and would be a welcomed addition to the class.

Can Juwan Howard finally land his first five-star at Michigan? We should find out soon.
