No. 3 1995 vs Ohio State

Woodson joined Michigan back in the day when the Wolverines used to get some of the best players in the state of Ohio and in his first game against the Buckeyes, his legend began.

Earlier in the week, Ohio State receiver Terry Glenn guaranteed that the No. 2 Buckeyes would beat Michigan and that he would exploit Woodson in coverage.

Well, Charles got the last laugh as the Wolverines upset the Buckeyes, thanks to the record-setting day of Tim Biakabutuka, who led Michigan to a 31-23 victory with 313 yards rushing.

However, Woodson was also huge in the victory and early in the second half, with Michigan ahead 10-9, he leaped up and snared an interception in front of Glenn.

It wouldn’t be the last time he would pick off Ohio State quarterback Bobby Hoying. With time winding down and the Buckeyes down eight, they were driving down the field, when Woodson sealed the win with his second interception.
