It was another record-breaking day for former Michigan football quarterback Tom Brady, while some other former Wolverines had solid days.

Tom Brady never ceases to amaze and on Sunday, the Michigan football alum did two things no one has ever done before in the NFL.

Not only did Brady lead the Bucs to a come-from-behind win Sunday against the Chargers, Brady became the oldest quarterback to throw five touchdown passes at the age of 43.

It’s funny because just a few weeks ago, people were talking about Brady as if he was washed up. Yet, following the win and the five touchdown passes, the Bucs are 3-1 and Brady has 11 total touchdown passes, as well as a three-game winning streak.

And with the victory, Brady, who is known for winning, set another mark, for the most regular-season wins in NFL history with 222.

So that makes it six Super Bowl championships and 222 wins if anyone is keeping track at home, plus a bunch of playoff victories too.

Maybe people should just stop doubting Tom Brady until he hangs it up, when he’s around 50.

Other Michigan football alums shine

While Brady is the G.O.A.T some other former Michigan football players had stellar days Sunday and one of them was rookie Jordan Glasgow, who made a significant play in the Colts win over the Chicago Bears.

Glasgow, who started out as a walk-on at Michigan and earned his way on special teams, before becoming a starter last season, blocked a punt in Chicago which helped the Colts improve to 3-1.

It was great to see Glasgow make the Colts roster out of camp and plays like this are why. Glasgow will never wow anyone but the guy just makes plays and you need guys like that to win. He was valuable for the Wolverines and will be for the Colts too.

Glasgow blocked a kick for the Wolverines back in 2019 and he made the decision to draft him look pretty smart. Another rookie, Josh Metellus also notched his first career tackle for the Vikings on special teams in a win over the Texans.
