Michigan stil in the mix for top-100 corner

While Donovan Edwards, Rayshaun Benny and Rooks are easily three of the Wolverines top priorities left in 2021, another that’s right there is cornerback Ceyair Wright.

It’s been well documented that Michigan football is absolutely looking to add another cornerback during this cycle and it seems that Wright is the most realistic target at this point.

If you started feeling less than optimistic about the Wolverines chances with Wright after a pair of crystal balls to USC last week, you aren’t alone.

But in an interview with 247 sports ($) this week, Wright talked about wanting to take a visit to Ann Arbor and sounds like he may take a self-guided visit if necessary due to the dead period.

The No. 71 player in the 2021 class has said he wants to decide in January at the All-American Bowl, which gives Michigan time to make a move. I don’t think I’d bet on the Wolverines or anything, but if Wright visits, they will have a legitimate chance.
