Tight end

The tight end position is another strength for this Michigan squad. The Wolverines return senior Nick Eubanks who caught 25 balls last season.  Eubanks has struggled to stay healthy throughout his career at Michigan but has proven he can be a very reliable pass catcher when he’s in there.

With the new offense being installed last season, I think Michigan struggled to get the TE involved at times. This year should be different in year two and with everyone more comfortable with their roles, I’d expect Eubanks to have a big season if he’s able to stay injury free.

At the other TE spot, expect sophomore Erick All to break out this season. Josh Gattis raved about him yesterday when he spoke to the media and had the following things to say about him.

All caught one pass a season ago but he was only a true freshman. He appeared in 11 games for the Wolverines. If Michigan can stay healthy at TE, I think we will see the offense use these weapons a lot more this fall.
