Michigan football is in a similar situation with Rayshaun Benny that it is with Donovan Edwards. The Wolverines are the clear crystal ball leader with the four-star defensive tackle, but the timing could end up being really important.

Benny has talked about making a decision in December or even going beyond the early signing period to take visits and when you look at his latest top list, he hasn’t visited most schools.

Michigan State has been making a push for Benny and he even posted a picture of himself in Spartan gear this week, but that doesn’t mean much.

The big question with Benny is when will he pull the trigger? Penn State is in the mix and they could be the biggest threat. Other schools could be in the mix too if they get a visit down the road.

With Benny, there have been rumors of him committing earlier and also sticking to his timeline. But of all the recruits on the list, he might be the last to make a decision.
