Daymon David

Daymon David is one of my favorite targets for Michigan football in the 2021 class. It’s sort of like Dunlap when I watched his highlights, I just sort of fell in love with his ability.

David is a hard-hitting safety, to say the least, but he’s got some athleticism to him, enough that he’s more than just an in the box guy. He’s 6-foot-2 and he can cover. David is from the DMV and caught the attention of Ed Reed, enough that Reed told Miami they should offer.

The Hurricanes did but didn’t make the final list, which is down to Michigan, Boston College and Oregon at this point. The Ducks offered late and they are making a hard push.

But Michigan football still seems to be in a good position with David, who was recently upgraded from a two-star recruit to a four-star recruit by Rivals.

There are no crystal ball projections or Futurecast picks at this point for David, but he talked about a decision in September and like with Edwards, the sooner the better for the Wolverines.
